Day Out in the Country

On Saturday, Mum and Dad took me on a trip to country Victoria. We went to Buxton to be precise because Mum bought some more toys via Ebay and we combined the pickup with a trip to Cathedral Range State Park and the Steavensons Falls in Marysville. I was very excited because Dad told me that this would be the day that I would see my first Kangaroo!!!
We stopped for a drink at the Mullum Mullum Creek Catchment (Lake). Dad explained that the last time they were here (in 2008 with Bryan), the water level was maybe 10 meter lower! I pretended to listen because Mum told me that Dad is always really happy when he can explain things to me, so that I should at least pretend to listen...

After picking up my "new" toys Mum and Dad went hiking  (I am that cute little thing in the Baby Bjorn) in the Cathedral Range State Park.
There was a lot of water on the track and Mum was a bit worried that Dad would slip and fall, but Dad was very careful and after 1h we arrived at the end of the track!
Time for a rest and something to drink! We also took some picture so I made sure that I looked cute and happy!

Dad did some exercises and I just laughed at him, :-)

Picture of the Koopman family in the bush.
How about this picture of me and my Dad. I think we should be in the next commercial for the Baby Bjorn
Dad was right: we did spot a little wallaby drinking from the creek ( can you see it behind the bush) it is a pity though that I was asleep at the time...
After a long walk, Mum and Dad enjoyed a picnic lunch and I relaxed in the shade.
Then we drove to Marysville and went to see the big waterfall. Dad explained that these are the biggest Falls in Victoria and I was again a good boy as I pretended again to listen. Dad took me so close, that we even got a bit wet.

After looking at the waterfalls we went home to rest and prepare for tomorrow!
